How to make Semolina (Rulang) Toffee

Semolina (Rulang) Toffee is a very yummy sweet that can be used for any occasion. Follow these simple steps to make a perfect Semolina (Rulang) Toffee.
Will you need
- 250 g of Semolina (Rulang)
- 300 g of sugar
- 500 ml of hot water
- Salt (as your taste)
- 1 tsp of vanilla
- 1 tsp of butter
Way of making
First, caramelize some sugar (you can also use jaggery instead of sugar) and after the sugar is well caramelized, add the rest of the sugar.Vish/Home Cooking
- After the sugar caramelizes and melts, add very hot water and mix well keeping the flame at a moderate level.
- Now add 1 tsp vanilla to it (instead of vanilla you can add a little crushed cardamom, cloves)
- Now add the Semolina (Rulang) to this, After adding the Semolina (Rulang) the flame should be reduced.
- After mixture is mixed well, put the mixture in a tray and cut the pieces of your desired size.
