Imagine you want to make something for an office party, as well as the simple desire to eat something at home, to serve a delicious dessert to the guests who come home, here are some simple steps to make perfect caramel pudding

Will you need

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 a tin of condensed milk (250 g)
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 50 g of sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 a nutmeg
      Way of making

Beginning with the caramel

  • First, take a stained steel vessel about a foot thick. Then, add sugar and add enough water to cover the sugar. Light the stove and cook until the sugar melts. Place the spoon in the middle of the bowl and spoon it around. When the spoon is moved around the bowl heats up and the sugar freezes in the hot spot. Then, sugar may harden.
  • Once the sugar has melted, remove the spoon and take the vessel a little above the stove to rotate around. The same size stove should be lit everywhere in the vessel. Rotate the vessel like this, put it in the stove for a 1 minute and rotate again. Then after 11 minutes the color changed. After 13 minutes on the stove, it turns amber. (Yellow and Orange mixed fever color). Then when it gets dark, turn off the stove and remove it from the stove. If let over, the caramel tastes bitter.
  • Now pour the caramel into the pudding making bowl. Carefully rotate slowly. When it rotates like this, it starts to turn to stone. Then let the pudding bowl cool down.

We need to make custard now
  • It's easy to take a jug for that. Put eggs in a jug beat slightly.
  • Add 250 g tin of condensed milk. Add 1/2 tsp Vanilla. Then mix them until fluffy.
  • Add half a cup of water from the measuring cup to get rid of the thickening.
  • Then pour the melted mixture into the caramelized pudding bowl. Grate a piece of nutmeg on top of the pudding mixture. Eggs have cholesterol, so adding a nutmeg is good for everyone's health.
  • You need to put some water in the saucepan and put a serviette in it so that the water bubbles come up to the level of the steam.
  • Now place a cooling rack on top of it to make it easier to place the bowl. Then heat the water and when the water boils well, turn off the stove and place the aluminium foil covered pudding bowl on top of the rack.
  • Then turn on the stove and keep the fire at medium size when the steam comes out well.
  • Now turn off the stove and take the bowl out and carefully lift the lid of the pudding bowl, take a toothpick and insert it in the middle of the pudding. If the pudding is not sticky to the toothpick, it has steamed well.
  • Now cover the pudding and put it aside to dry again and then the caramel will start to melt.
  • If you put the pudding in the fridge with heat, the caramel will thicken. Leave to cool well at room temperature until the heat is gone and put in the fridge.
  • Then take the pudding out of the fridge and place a plate on top of the bowl and turn the pudding over.
  • Now your pudding is ready. You can enjoy it. You can decorate this and serve as a delicious delicacy to your guests.
